OMEGA De Ville Gold Dial 1970s

Produced in the 1970s by OMEGA, the De Ville line represented the maison's dress watch at its most distilled — Swiss refinement without ceremony. This example is distinguished by a cushion case and a dial left entirely to its own proportions.

The gold plated case measures 30mm across excluding the crown and 37.5mm from lug to lug, with a stainless steel back. Its softly squared silhouette carries no bezel work and no ornament, so nothing competes with the dial. Light gathers along the polished flanks, and the case reads larger on the wrist than its measurements suggest.

The dial is a warm golden sunburst that shifts from pale to amber as it turns. Applied baton markers and slim darkened hands sit on it without crowding, and the OMEGA signature and DE VILLE text are the only printing it carries. Traces of age are visible around the crystal edge, honest for a watch of this period.
