The Eberhard & Co. Extra-Fort is one of the distinctive chronographs of mid-century Swiss watchmaking, combining a purposeful sporting character with the restrained elegance typical of the 1950s.

Its classically proportioned round case frames a chronograph dial designed around clarity and balance. The contrasting scales, subsidiary registers, and slender hands create the technical character expected of a period chronograph, yet the overall composition remains refined enough to retain the elegance of a traditional dress watch.

The Extra-Fort name became closely associated with Eberhard & Co.’s chronograph production, representing the manufacture’s long-standing expertise in mechanical timing instruments.
