SEIKO Gold Textured Dial Quartz 1990s

Seiko's quartz dress watches of the 1990s carried forward the restraint the brand had refined through the previous decade, favoring texture and proportion over ornament. This example is distinguished by its finely textured gold dial and a bezel punctuated by twelve polished studs. The detail gives the round case a quietly architectural character.

The gold-plated case pairs a smooth, rounded profile with a stainless steel caseback, signed SEIKO and stamped with reference V732-0080. Measuring 32.4mm excluding the crown and 37.7mm from lug to lug, it keeps to classic dress-watch proportions. Its clean lines leave the bezel studs as the only flourish, allowing the dial to take center stage.

The dial is finished in a fine grid texture that shifts from pale gold to warm champagne as the light moves across it. A single Roman numeral marks twelve, while the remaining hours are indicated by applied gold-tone studs. A discreet date window sits at six.

Powered by Seiko's Cal. V732 quartz movement, the watch carries hours, minutes, central seconds and date. It offers the everyday reliability for which Seiko quartz has long been known.

Completing the watch is a Seiko-signed gold-tone bracelet of stepped brick links, closing with a fold-over clasp marked SEIKO STAINLESS STEEL-B. It measures 12.2mm at the lugs and fits a wrist of up to 16cm, echoing the warmth of the case.
