OMEGA Seamaster Golden Earth Dial 1950s

A beautifully aged 1950s Omega Seamaster whose dial has evolved into a remarkable landscape of warm gold, amber, and earthy tones.

The dial is unquestionably the defining feature of this piece. Decades of aging have created broad variations in color and texture, ranging from pale champagne to deeper ochre and golden-brown areas. Fine irregularities spread naturally across the surface, giving the dial an almost geological appearance—less like a conventional finish and more like a landscape shaped gradually by time.

Applied baton hour markers and dauphine-style hands provide a sharp architectural contrast against the organic character of the patina. The Omega emblem and elegant “Seamaster” script remain at the center, while the subsidiary seconds register at 6 o’clock completes the beautifully balanced mid-century composition.

The polished case is characterized by its clean round profile and long, sharply defined lugs. On the reverse, the case back carries the familiar Seamaster hippocampus medallion, an enduring visual signature of the collection.
