The Rolex Oysterdate Precision has long been admired for its honest simplicity, carrying the Oyster case and the date without the automatic winding or chronometer certification that defined its siblings. Produced across nearly three decades, Ref. 6694 became the last manually wound wristwatch Rolex ever made. The stainless steel Oyster case measures 34mm across, excluding the crown, and 41.5mm from lug to lug. A smooth, polished bezel replaces the fluting found on dressier references, and the absence of ornamentation allows the dial to take center stage. The proportions remain modest and balanced, sitting quietly on the wrist.

Applied gold baton markers and matching hands are set against a finely radiating champagne surface, with a Cyclops lens magnifying the date at three o'clock. The dial reverse has been inspected and shows no signs of refinishing or alteration. The acrylic crystal has been replaced to restore clarity.
