The silver dial has a fine frosted texture, a little like handmade paper, so it gives a soft, even glow rather than a mirror shine. Inside is the quartz Cal.5931, so there is nothing to wind. We fitted a black crocodile leather strap, and it sits as well with a dark suit as with a white shirt.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe case is stainless steel, with cut corners that give it eight flat edges. Fine scratches from use are mostly on the caseback. It measures 30mm across (excluding crown) and 35mm lug to lug, with an 18mm lug width. The thin case and short lugs keep it low on the wrist, so it slips under a cuff easily.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe dial has slim applied baton indices and a double marker at 12. There is light spotting near the lower right edge, visible at close range.
